The restaurant named for one remarkable man
Mr. Shane's didn't start with a business plan — it started with a friendship. Randy and April Resnick found someone so exceptional that when they relocated their restaurant to Matamoras, PA, they named the whole place after him.
How Shane got his name on the door
After 40-plus years in the industry, Randy and April Resnick met Shane Phillipy while he was serving at events. Impressed, they brought him aboard — and when Matamoras opened, they made him a managing partner and gave the place his name.
A team that runs it together
Shane, Randy, and Julian — Randy and April's son — work side by side every day, focused on quality ingredients, well-trained staff, and turning first-time guests into regulars.
The food on the table
Burgers, steaks, seafood, sandwiches, and creative weekly specials — all served in generous portions inside a cozy bar and dining room at the Best Western in Matamoras. Come hungry.
